During the planning phase of developing Fident, I carefully considered the key steps required to ensure its success. Firstly, I conducted thorough research to understand the existing ATM infrastructure and banking systems, identifying potential integration points. I also analyzed user preferences and behaviors to determine the most intuitive and efficient user interface design. Collaborating with a team of experts, I established a comprehensive roadmap that outlined the necessary features, functionality, and security measures. Additionally, I conducted feasibility studies to assess technical requirements and potential challenges. By meticulously planning each stage of the development process, I set a strong foundation for creating a user-friendly, secure, and innovative mobile application.

In 2022, there was a significant 27% increase in global ATM fraud cases, specifically related to ATM skimming during legitimate transactions, resulting in the loss of sensitive card details. This issue has become pervasive across various regions, making it challenging for individuals to identify compromised machines. Recognizing this problem, our mobile application presents an ideal opportunity to address these concerns effectively. By utilizing our app, users can leave their cards at home, enabling them to enjoy peace of mind during their activities without the worry of payment-related issues.

Meet Danyal
Danyal is a 32-year-old professional residing in a metropolitan city in India. He is concerned about the increasing incidents of ATM scams and wants to protect himself from potential fraudulent activities. Danyal uses ATMs regularly for cash withdrawals and values security as a top priority.

Meet Anya
Anya is a 27-year-old health-conscious individual living in a bustling city in India. She is highly conscious about hygiene, especially in public spaces. Harsha frequently uses ATMs for cash withdrawals but wants to minimize physical contact to maintain cleanliness and reduce the risk of exposure to germs




Through iterative design iterations, I focused on creating intuitive navigation and seamless interactions to ensure a smooth and delightful user experience. I prioritized simplicity and clarity, utilizing clean and minimalist aesthetics to enhance the app's visual appeal. Collaborating closely with the development team and incorporating user feedback, I iteratively refined the wireframes to achieve a balance between functionality, usability, and visual aesthetics. The wireframes served as a blueprint for the app's interface, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent stages of design and development.

Bringing It All Together

During the UI design phase, I meticulously crafted the visual elements of the app, ensuring a seamless and visually captivating user interface. I focused on creating an intuitive and user-friendly design by selecting suitable colors, typography, and imagery that aligned with the app's branding and target audience. Through the use of high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes, I effectively communicated the intended look and feel of the app, incorporating user feedback and continuously refining the design. The result is a visually engaging and aesthetically pleasing UI that enhances the overall user experience and fosters a positive connection with the app's functionality and purpose.
