Tripmate is a standalone travel app designed to simplify and enhance the travel experience for modern travelers, focusing exclusively on foreign trips. The app offers a user-friendly platform that integrates travel planning and booking processes, personalized recommendations, curated experiences, and streamlined transactions.
Understanding the concept
To ensure that TripMate delivers on its promise of seamless travel planning, we've designed three core flows. These flows focus on creating an itinerary, allowing users to customize their plans, and ensuring everything remains accessible, even with low connectivity. Each flow is crafted to provide a smooth and user-friendly experience, making travel planning effortless and enjoyable.
Home Screen
After onboarding, users are welcomed to the TripMate home screen with a warm, personalised message. Right below this greeting, they’ll find a prominent search bar inviting them to start planning their next adventure effortlessly.
To spark inspiration, the home screen features vibrant recommendation cards. These cards showcase trending destinations, popular spots where other travellers are heading, and in-season hotspots perfect for exploring right now.
By combining a friendly welcome, an easy-to-use search function, and engaging travel suggestions, TripMate makes it simple and exciting for users to kick off their travel planning journey.

After you’ve added all your travel details, TripMate will generate the best itineraries for you.
You’ll see:
- The most popular itinerary, highly rated by many users.
- A recommended itinerary tailored to your previous adventures.
- Options for romantic getaways, family vacations, or solo trips.
- A budget-friendly itinerary for those who want to enjoy their trip without overspending.
You can also favorite any itinerary you like, making it easy to revisit and plan for the future.
Customise It
The app offers plenty of options to customize your trip exactly the way you want without the hassle of starting from scratch. You can include multiple countries in your itinerary, decide how many days to spend in each country, and choose which cities to visit within those countries. Tailoring your trip has never been this easy and flexible!
By clicking on the "Customize" CTA, an overlay modal appears showing the places already selected in your itinerary. Additionally, it displays other recommended places you can visit in that country, allowing you to easily customize and enhance your trip.
Checkout
Finally, once all customizations are done, users can proceed to the checkout page. Here, they will need to add details for all travelers. These details will be used to book all amenities and activities for the trip, ensuring that users do not need to enter information multiple times. We then display a final confirmation page along with a seamlessly designed payment gateway page, powered by Juspay, to complete the booking process smoothly.
One place for all your trips
You can access the "Trips" section from the bottom navigation to view all your upcoming trips or those shared with you by others.
When you open any trip, you have the option to share it with other users, making it easy to keep everyone traveling on the same page.
Users added during the booking process will have the trip automatically added to their app, ensuring everyone is informed and organised.
To enhance navigation and user-friendliness, the home page displays all recent searches as well as your upcoming trip. This feature ensures you can quickly revisit past searches and keep track of your travel plans with ease.
Offline Access
If you find yourself in an area with no connectivity, the TripMate app will automatically display your upcoming activity details in a card format. Each card includes all the essential information you need, whether it's boarding a flight, checking into a hotel, or participating in an activity. This ensures that you have convenient and accessible information at all times, even when you're offline.
